Would Be Kings is a high stakes, drug squad drama about love, loyalty and betrayal that sets the stage for police corruption, dirty money and murder. Patrick and Jamie are cousins, best friends and, more importantly, cops. Caught in a power struggle, Patrick, who's also Jamie's boss, is a clean-cut investigator, while Jamie does nothing by the book. Always breaking the rules and nursing a drug addiction, Jamie is forced to clean up his act when Patrick becomes involved in questionable police work. Patrick's desperate actions have horrifying consequences as his daughter gets involved with drugs, his wife Diana has an affair with Jamie, and the money that he thought would help his problems has torn the family apart forever.
