The series goes behind the scenes at the Royal palace and follows the life of Prince Albert II, who rules this unique sovereign state. Monaco is known as the playground of the super-rich, and we a meet some of its millionaire residents - alongside the workers who deliver their luxury lifestyle. With residents paying no income tax, the booming economy is based on the vast revenues generated from people spending money. In this series we gained access to exclusive events and calendar highlights from the Grand Prix to the Yacht Show, and filmed inside iconic attractions like the famous casino and the Hotel de Paris. From joining the Prince on his private jet to seeing the lavish preparations of the Red Cross Ball, meeting street cleaners to billionaires this series gives an extraordinary glimpse of life in one of the most glamorous places in the world.
