Johnny de Graaf is living the Italian dream. He is playing for an Italian football club and lives with his family in a beautiful villa. Slowly Johnny becomes part of the shifty underworld of the sport, in which football players are merely merchandise. He is losing his control over his life and is forced to make choices which are non-related to his love for football. Everything what Johnny seems to be doing, is backfiring him.
